Former President George W. Bush slightly made his way back into the political world this past week. Speaking to a group of Jewish donors, Bush talked of Obama’s Middle East strategy, or lack thereof, and why he thinks Mr. Obama’s approach is off.
According to Bloombergview.com, Bush didn’t give direct or pointed criticism of Obama, but he made it known that he would approach the situation differently.
Clik here to view.

Regarding Obama’s recent Iran nuclear deal, the former president said that he has concerns about his future grand kids.
“You think the Middle East is chaotic now? Imagine what it looks like for our grandchildren. That’s how Americans should view the deal.”
He continued by saying that the president shouldn’t trust Hassan Rouhani, Iran’s new president, and that Obama made a mistake by withdrawing troops from Iraq in 2011.
But his hottest take on Obama was when he alluded to the president’s inability to remain firm.
“In order to be an effective president … when you say something you have to mean it,” Bush said. When asked about how Obama should deal with terrorists wanting to destroy American, he said that “you gotta kill ‘em.” He also said that he believes that the United States is “in retreat” under Obama’s stewardship.
Of course Bush will take plenty of heat from the left about his remarks. No matter for him because he’s no longer in the spotlight and isn’t likely to return fire if he is criticized. But he certainly gave fodder to those who despised his presidency.
Regarding his decision to go to war in Iraq, his administration still receives daily objection to their decision to take American to war in the first place. Saying that America should be concerned about our grandchildren and how the deal will impact them may also be viewed as myopic.
That theory may be applied to his decision to “unify” and stabilize Iraq, yet the war and occupation of varied areas in Asia certainly worked to diminish an already chaotic area.
Then there is the talk of the lies that his administration told to take this country into war, the torture, the non-existent weapons of mass destruction, and so on and so forth.
President Obama will certainly have his day to face the music, and baggage, of his own administration, but Bush’s ineligible view of his own potential blind-spots may do more harm than good to his brother once Jeb officially begins to campaign.
Plenty of red meat that Democrats will have to chew on leading up to 2016.
