In the background of unrest in Ferguson and Baltimore, this series will also tackle how to positively foster the energy created by the events in the aforementioned cities.

Earlier this week in Baltimore, an uprising occurred after the death of 25-year old Freddie Gray. Gray was arrested by Baltimore police for an unknown violation, placed in the back of a van for transport to booking, but was dead by the time he arrived.

According to reports, Gray’s voice box was crushed and his spine severed. Documents obtained by the Washington Post from the Baltimore police state that Gray attempted to injure himself and snap his own spine.
